UMass Wins 2003 Henley Women's Regatta

Coach Dietz' and the varsity eight team members took time out of the trip to visit the Henley Museum, where they posed with the statue of Sir Steven Redgrove. The legendary Redgrove won five consecutive Olympic gold medals in five straight Olympics, the only person ever to do so in any sport.

The UMass varsity eight captured the College Eights title at the 2003 Henley Women's Regatta. The Minutewomen downed U.C.D. of Ireland in the championship race by 2 3/4 lengths.
