BOSTON, Mass. -

The UMass rowing team closed out their fall season at the Foot of the Charles Regatta on Saturday, November 12 in Boston, Mass. Only the novice rowers participated, entering four boats into the Novice 8+ race.

The fastest UMass boat finished in eighth place out of 23 competitors with a time of 14:49.5, led by coxswain Isabel Feldman. The other three boats, including a lightweight boat, finished in 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, with times of 17:17.7, 17:18.0, and 18:21.3 respectively. The lightweight boat finished in 21st and was lead by coxswain Chastity Beach.

The Minutewomen will not compete again until March when they head to the Yankee C
