BOSTON, Mass. - Novice members of the UMass rowing team raced in the Foot of the Charles regatta on Saturday in Boston, Mass. Three novice eight boats were entered into the competition.

The UMass A boat finished in fourth place overall with a time of 14:32.2. The lineup included coxswain Tanya Smith, Krysten Menks who lead the stroke, Courtney Edson, Maggie Curran, Sam Kolovson, Leslie Barden, Nicole Destefano, Hallie Dunlap and Estephania Marti.

The other two UMass boats finished in 15th and 16th place and finished with times of 17:07.2 and 18:08.3.

The Foot of the Charles concluded the fall season and the Minutewomen will not race until their spring opener against Coast Guard on March 16.
