NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts rowing program took first place in the 1x, 2x and 4x events at the Seven Sisters Sculling Race, hosted by the Minutewomen in Northampton, Mass., on Saturday.

Claudia Caballero Larco finished first in 19:25.5 during the morning 1x race as the Minutewomen claimed 10 of the top 11 and 13 of the best 15 finishes in the event. Taryn Wilson finished second at 20:03.1 while Emily Mann took third three seconds later and Lauren St. Pierre earned fourth at 20:11.7.

The quad boat of Caballero Larco, Rachel Boudreau, Gabrielle Hayward and Pippa Edwards entered in the afternoon race also took home gold in 17:37.1, ahead of the second place finishers from Ithaca, who crossed in 17:51.2.

Wilson and Mann led the charge in the double by finishing in 20:30.2, followed by Marika Kopp and St. Pierre at 22:24.3. Sam Kolovson and Rebecca Adams added a third place finish for the Minutewomen at 22:49.6.

UMass claimed the top six spots in the afternoon double. Allanah Rubi-Mooney and Estefi Marti Malvido secured fourth place only 1.7 seconds after Kolovson and Adams earned the bronze. Sarah Wiczek and Teagan Rolf von den Baumen crossed in 23:10.2 while Anna Sender and Krysten Menks totaled sixth place with a time of 23:18.8.
