Spring 2007 (Sophomore): Named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete for maintaining a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. A member of the varsity four boat which had a rocky start to the season taking third in the Yankee Cup (3/30); last place against Iona and Colgate (4/1); third against Northeastern, Texas and Columbia in Boston (4/14) in the first race of the day; second against USC and Columbia in the afternoon race (4/14) and last against BU and two Radcliffe boats (4/15). She finished the season strong winning the silver medal in the A10 Championships (4/21) losing to URI by only three seconds. She rowed in the varsity four in the ECAC Championships, finishing third in the petite final.

2006 (Freshman): Rowed in the second novice eight boat which placed second at the Yankee Cup, second at the Knecht Cup and first at both the A-10 Championship and the ECAC Championship.

Before UMass: Played soccer for four years, basketball for three and lacrosse for two, in addition to running outdoor track for two years ... was also the sports editor of the school newspaper and a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Majoring in Journalism ... born May 21, 1987.
