Spring 2007 (Freshman): Coxswain of the varsity eight team this spring that took second place at the Yankee Cup in Kingston, R.I. (3/30); first against Iona and Colgate in Orchard Beach, N.Y. (4/1); an unfortunate last place finish due to a boat stopping crab in Boston (4/17); and finished with a silver medal at the A10 Championships in Camden, N.J.(4/21) helping her team to the 12th straight A10 Title a feat that no other school or team has been able to do. Rowed in the lightweight eight that finished second at the ECAC Championships. Fall 2006 (Freshman): Rowed in the novice eight placing first at the Textile Regatta, first at the Head of the Housatonic and sixth at the Head of the Fish. Before UMass: Was the varsity captain both junior and senior years while winning the crew coach's award as a senior ... Won gold medal at the Massachusetts State Championship two consecutive years. Personal: Sister, Dana, is also on the rowing team ...
