2013-14 - Senior:
Spring 2014: Rowed in the fourth seat in the Varsity 8+ boat throughout the spring season ... Finished first at the Yankee Cup (3/29) as a member of the V8 with a time of 7:14.08 ... In the Varsity 8+ race, took first in a head-to-head meeting against Colgate (4/6) in 7:29.00 ... In a five team meet on the Connecticut River on April 6, won first in the V8 with a time of 6:02.24 ... Took gold in the Varsity 8+ Grand Final at the Knecht Cup (4/12-4/13) in a time of 6:47.65 ... Also, won gold in the pair at the Knecht Cup with a time of 8:19.47 ... Defeated UConn (4/18) in the V8 and finished first in 7:08.46 ... In the V8 boat, notched a first place finish against MIT, Bates and Radcliffe in a time of 7:27.80 ... Helped the Minutewomen win the Atlantic 10 Championship (5/4) by earning a first place finish in the Varsity 8+ Final in a time of 7:26.00 ... Rowed for the Varsity 8+ boat at the 2014 NCAA Championships hosted in Indianapolis, Ind., from May 31-June 1.

Fall 2013: At the Head of the Housatonic (10/12), finished sixth in the Collegiate 4+ in 17:54.5 and captured ninth in the Collegiate 8+ with a time of 16:18.6 ... At the Head of the Charles (10/19-10/20), rowed in the Championship 4+ ... Took home bronze in the Collegiate Open 2- at the Head of the Fish (10/26) in 17:33.85 and raced in the JV 8+ ... At the Collegiate Small Boat Challenge (11/3), earned third place with a time of 8:28.72 in the Collegiate 2-D Final.

2012-13 - Junior:
Spring 2013: Helped the Varsity 8+ to a second-place finish in a time of 7:23.85 at the Yankee Cup (3/30) ... Sat in the fourth seat for the Varsity 8+ boat during the Minutewomen's win at Holy Cross (4/6), earning a time of 6:49 for first place.

Fall 2012: Raced in the varsity 8+ at the Head of the Housatonic (10/6) ... Competed in the championship 8+ at the Head of the Charles (10/21) ... Finished in eighth in the collegiate 8+ with a time of 12:21.02 at the Head of the Fish (10/27) and raced in the collegiate 4+.

2011-12 - Sophomore:
Spring 2012: Raced in the Varsity Eight for the first five races of the season...Took fifth place at the Murphy Cup (3/24) with a time of 7:59.15...Finished in third place at the Yankee Cup (3/31) with a time of 7:21.22 ... Defeated UConn (4/6) with a time of 6:47.5 ... Finished in fifth place in the Third Final of the Knecht Cup (4/15) with a time of 6:50.03 ... Switched to the Junior Varsity Eight for the Atlantic 10 Championship Regatta (5/5) which finished in second place with a time of 7:12.57 ... Finished in fifth place in the grand final at Eastern Sprints (5/13) with a time of 6:54.543.

Fall 2011: Did not compete.

2010-11 - Freshman:
Spring 2011: Finished in fifth place in the Novice 8+ at the Dad Vail Regatta with a time of 7:31 ... Raced in the Varsity 8 at the Atlantic 10 Championship and finished in third place ... Finished in second place in the Novice 4+ grand final at the Knecht Cup ... Raced in the Varsity 8 at the Yankee Cup (3/26) and finished fourth with a time of 8:07.56.

Fall 2010: Did not compete.

Before UMass: Was a 2010 graduate from Hopedale High School ... Was a varsity member in cross country and track and field for four seasons ... Reached the Massachusetts State Championships three times during her cross country career ... Qualified for MIAA All-States during her freshmen and sophomore years ... Was a member in the National Honors Society.

Personal: Candace June Miller ... Born June 30, 1992 to Ken and Susan Miller ... Has two siblings, Kyla and Adam, who are both enrolled at UMass ... Twin sister, Kyla is also a member of the rowing team.
