Andrea enters her sixth season on the University of Massachusetts coaching staff and begins her third campaign in the assistant coaching role during 2014-15. Morand serves as the walk-on recruitment coordinator for the Minutewomen, heading up the recruitment of current UMass students.

During her second year working full-time with the program, Morand assisted long-time head coach Jim Dietz and associate head coach Laura Simon lead the Minutewomen to an appearance in the 2014 NCAA Championships. The successful spring season also featured an Atlantic 10 Championship as well as a first place finish at the 2014 Knecht Cup.

In the 2011 season, Andrea was hired as a full-time assistant coach. Prior to this she served as the graduate assistant coach for two seasons. As the graduate assistant coach, Andrea served as the walk-on novice coach, where she taught rowing basics to the players new to the sport.

Andrea rowed for the University of Massachusetts from 2005-09 as a member of the Varsity Eight, helping the Minutewomen win three Atlantic 10 Championships during her tenure.
