AMHERST, Mass. - Incoming UMass women's lacrosse freshman defender Anne Farnham of Andover, Mass., will be one of 23 players for the North Team in Saturday's Under Armour All-American Girls Game at Towson's Johnny Unitas Stadium in Baltimore. Anne and her twin sister Kate will both join the Minutewomen for the 2013 season as UMass seeks its fifth consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship Title.

The Under Armour All-America Girls Classic will begin at 5 PM and will be followed by the Boys Classic at 8 PM.

Farnham tallied 44 goals, 20 assists, 65 groundballs this season for Coach John McVeigh's Andover High School team which posted a 22-2 mark this season.

A three-time All-Conference selection, Farnham was also chosen to the Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic squad.

A multiple sport athlete, Farnham also played field hockey, helping Andover win the State Championship and earning All-Conference honors as well.

Farnham's brother Buddy was an All-American wide receiver at Brown before signing with the New England Patriots during the 2010 season. Her father Mark was an All-American lacrosse player at Brown and a record-setting wide receiver as well and is a member of the University's Hall of Fame.
