The No. 14 UMass women's lacrosse team will head to Boston University on Wednesday afternoon before returning home on Saturday to host Iona at McGuirk Stadium. The Minutewomen remain at No. 14 in the IWLCA Coaches Poll this week after a 3-1 start to the season, but did move up to No. 12 in the deBeer Media Poll.

UMass is 12-8 all-time against Boston University, however, four of the last six games have been decided by two-or-fewer goals. UMass won last year in Amherst, 13-11, and in 2011 at Nickerson Field, 13-12, with Katie Ferris' first-career goal serving as the game-winner with five seconds left in regulation.

Ferris Continues To Climb On Career Charts
• Junior attack Katie Ferris continues to climb in the women's lacrosse all-time career record book. After a six point weekend (3 goals, 3 assists), the native of Carthage, N.Y., is now tied for 4th all-time in career points (191), 4th in career goals (127) and 4th in career assists (64).
• A member of the 2013 Tewaaraton Watch List, Ferris needs 25 points to claim third place for career points and 17 for career goals. She is 11 assists away from Jeanne Hackett who is third with 75.
• Last season Ferris set the UMass single-season record for points (98), goals (59) and assists (39). Her 98 points was also a new Atlantic 10 record breaking Jami Wilus' record of 94 set in 2001 - Wilus is the sister of former UMass men's lacrosse player Mike.
