ST.BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Massachusetts' Jada Ernery scored the game-winning goal with 31 seconds remaining in the second half to defeat the Bonnies, 14-13, here Sunday afternoon.

UMass held a 10-6 halftime advantage, but watched the home team outscore the Minutewomen 7-4 in the second half.

Massachusetts' midfielder Lydia Robinson led the team with a game-high six goals and one assist. Teammate Lori Kain added three goals and one assist.

Leading the attack for the Bonnies were senior midfielder Emily Lilyea, freshman attack Nicole Motondo. Motondo scored two goals in the final 12:00 including the tying goal off an assist from Lilyea. Lilyea scored three of her four goals in the second half and added two assists.

Keeping the Bonnies' alive in the first half, junior attack Katie Murphy scored two goals for the Bonnies in 4:00.

Massachusetts improved to 9-5 on the season with the win, including a 5-1 mark in the A-10. UMass plays at North Carolina on Thursday, then returns home to host Saint Joseph's on Sunday, April 27, at 11 a.m. on Garber Field. The Bonnies fell to 10-2 overall and 3-2 in the league with the loss.
