    Venechanos On Typadis: Kath is really coming on this year and is definitely one of our most athletic players and a strong threat to goal ... she is learning to use her talents in more multi-dimensional ways to put herself and her teammates in good scoring positions.

    • Selected to final tryout list for the U.S. Lacrosse Development/Elite Teams as one of 98 players ... earned a spot on the list after an outstanding showing in the first round tryouts in the Stars & Stripes Division at the U.S. Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament held at Lehigh University (5/26-27).
    • Named to the IWLCA All-Region First Team becoming the first UMass attack named to the top regional team.
    • Named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team.
    • Started all 17 games of the season and led the team in goals (52) and points (60) ... had a career-high eight assists for the season ... her 52 goals broke the 23-year standing single-season scoring record at UMass ... had 10 hat tricks on the season including back-to-back five-goal games in the final two games of the season to set the season scoring record ... scored a career-high six goals in win over Albany (3/10) ... finished the season with 29 draw controls, 17 groundballs, and 11 caused turnovers ... shot .520 for the year.
    • Finished the season ranked 30th nationally in active career goals ... will enter the 2008 season as the No. 3 active goal scorer in the country.
    • One of just 15 players nationally this season to break the 50-goal barrier in the regular-season ... that list includes six 2006 All-Americans, six 2007 Preseason All-Americans, five 2007 Tewaaraton finalists, and the 2006 Tewaaraton Winner, Kristen Kjellman ... all told, her 52 goals this season were the eighth most scored by one player in the nation.
    • Ranked 18th nationally in goals per game (3.06) and 53rd in points per game (3.53).
    • Finished the season ranked third in the Atlantic 10 in goals per game (3.06) and sixth in points per game (3.53).
    • Has started 55 consecutive games - every game of her career.
    • Has scored a goal in 41 consecutive games which ranks third in the nation among active players.
    • Has scored at least one point in 41 consecutive games - that is currently the 7th longest active scoring streak in the nation.
    • Ranks second all-time at UMass in career goals with 131, sixth for career points (147) and second all-time in draw controls with 87 ... needs just 40 goals to set the UMass career-record.
    • Netted five goals for second consecutive game in season finale against La Salle (4/29) to set UMass single-season scoring record (52) ... also had one groundball and two draw controls ... this marked the third time in her career against La Salle that she scored five goals.
    • Entered the final weekend of the season needing 10 goals to break UMass single-season scoring record and tallied five on just six shots against Saint Joseph's (4/27) ... also had two draw controls.
    • Scored three goals and tallied an assist on seven shots in loss at St. Bonaventure. Also collected three draw controls.
    • Found the back of the goal three times, collected one ground ball and gained a draw control in win at Duquesne (4/20).
    • Tallied two goals while recording a groundball and a caused turnover against Richmond (4/15).
    • Scored two goals, added an assist and a groundball against George Washington (4/8).
    • Had two goals, two draw controls and a caused turnover at Temple (4/6).
    • At Yale (3/28), scored two goals and added an assist to go along with two draw controls.
    • Earned second A-10 Co-Performer Of The Week (3/19-3/25) after scoring nine goals in three games (at UNH, against Northwestern, at Boston College).
    • At Boston College (3/25), scored three goals including the game-tying goal in a 10-9 overtime win ... also had three draw controls and a groundball.
    • Against Northwestern (3/23), scored two goals and had a groundball, a draw control and a caused turnover.
    • Named UMass/Dinn Bros. Athlete of the Week (3/5) after scoring scoring a combined six goals and posting three assists at Vermont (2/28) and at Harvard (3/3).
    • Named the A-10 Co-Performer of the Week (2/28-3/10) after posting 14 goals, four assists, and leading UMass to a 3-1 record over the two-week reporting span.
    • At New Hampshire (3/20), scored four goals, had three groundballs, two draw controls and a caused turnover.
    • Against Albany (3/10), scored a career-high six goals and seven points to go along with two draw controls, two groundballs and a caused turnover.
    • Against Dartmouth (3/7), scored twice and added a caused turnover and a draw control.
    • Has started 39 consecutive games - every game of her career.

    • Ranks 10th all-time at UMass in career goals with 90 and fourth all-time in draw controls with 65.

    Named to the 2006 IWLCA All-Northeast Region Second-Team ... earned A-10 All-Conference Second Team honors and All-Tournament accolades to close out the season ... finished the season with 43 goals and one assist ... also had 31 groundballs, 22 draw controls, and three caused turnovers ... converted 18-of-26 free position shots ... her 43 goals was the fifth-best single season total in UMass history ... has scored in 24 consecutive games - the longest active scoring streak on the team ... has also started 35 consecutive games ... tallied two goals in loss to Richmond (5/5) in the A-10 Semifinals ... earned her second A-10 Athlete of the Week honor of the season following performances against Duquesne and at George Washington ... also picked up her first ever UMass Athlete of the Week honor ... tallied three goals in win at George Washington (4/30) ... in overtime, scored her first career game-winning goal against Duquesne (4/28) and finished the game with two goals, four groundballs, two draw controls and a caused turnover ... tied her career-high with five goals in win at La Salle (4/15) en route to A-10 Performer of the Week honors ... was the second time in her career she scored five goals against the Explorers ... scored four goals in win at Saint Joseph's - the fifth time in her career where she scored four-or-more goals in a game ... her effort moved her ahead of Tracey Drown - UMass' last All-American - who had 61 career goals ... posted her fourth hat trick of the season against Boston College (4/1) ... also had three draw controls, one groundball and one caused turnover had two goals in win over Vermont (3/29) for her eighth multi-goal game of the season ... tied her career-high with five draw controls in that game ... had a four-point performance in loss at No. 13 Syracuse (3/15) with three goals and an assist ... posted three goals and a season-high four groundballs in loss to No. 9 Boston Univ.
