•Why did you choose to come to UMass? I loved the team. The school was ok, campus ok. But my teammates were awesome and made it an easy choice.
•What did you like most about this school? I liked that it was a big school, a lot of school spirit and that the people here seemed crazy and fun. It seemed like the ultimate college experience.
•What did you like most about the lacrosse program? My teammates were absolutely crazy, I didn't know whether to be scared or excited. I also wanted to play for a team that was being built up.
•What did others tell you about the program or did you have any previous connections to the program that made the decision easy? Other people told me it was a great choice. A good education, not to far away, and that I could build with the program. That it was a team heading towards the Top 20.
•When did you start playing sports? I started basketball in second grade, lacrosse freshman year of highschool.
•Outside of athletics, what interests do you have? I like to cook, I love clothes, and I love travel-I want to go everywhere. And I love being in the girl cave with my crew.
•What is something you have to do every day? Blast music in my car and sing.
•What are some of your staple foods & what are your "cheat" foods? My staple foods are chips and salsa. Cheat foods would be wings and mozzarella sticks.
•What are some of your must see TV shows? Shameless, Girls, American Horror Story, Big Bang Theory, Family Guy and Modern Family.
•What do you want to be doing in five years? I would like to be living in New York or New Jersey with a management or high up position in a corporate event planning company. Or working at a huge venue such as Madison Square Garden.
•Who is the most influential person or people in your life? My dad. He is the smartest, toughest, hardest working, and most generous person I have ever met.
•You find out you can go anywhere in the world but you have to leave today and get to be there for one week. Where do you go, who do you bring with you and what do you want to experience? I would go to Fiji, or some great mystical island with caves and mountains. I would want to experience the most beautiful parts of nature. I would bring my parents and siblings, my whole grade and some other friends.
•What is your favorite thing about being on the lacrosse team? How insane everyone is. It is never a dull day on this team.
•What is your least favorite thing about being on the lacrosse team? That it only lasts for 4 years and we all live so far apart.
•What have been your top-5 moments with the program?
1.Sam Rush's overtime goal against Albany.
2. The entire A10 championship experience in 2013.
3.Completing my last run test.
4.All the bus rides and team dinners.
5.When Erin Riley performed Listen by Beyonce.
•Who is the funniest person on the team and why (examples are good!) Shannon Defliese. Everything she does and says is hilarious. I can't be around her without laughing.
•Who is the best singer on the team? I'd like to say me, but I know no one agrees haha.
•Who is most likely to end up on a reality TV show? Bowen, Easily.
•Who is the smartest person (random knowledge and/or book smarts)? Shannon definitely has the most random knowledge. Not to sure about book smarts with this team....
•Who is the most intense player during a game? Rachel. Her eye black alone is intense.
•What are some pregame rituals that different people have? Rachel writes in a book, some people listen to songs and dance (like lipgloss), almost everybody has a certain hairstyle they get done.
•Who do you live with and what is something interesting about that person? I live with Shannon Defliese, Tanner Guarino, Courtney McGrath and Kelsey Sheridan. There isn't enough space to talk about how interesting and absurd they all are. Love them to death though 320!
•If a TV show were to be made about the team, what would it be called? What would be the most interesting thing about the team? What would be the most embarrassing? I don't know the name of the show but the most interesting thing would just be how different we all are but how much we love each other for our differences. Our entire lives and the way we act and dance would be embarrassing!
