• became the first All-American selection since Tracey Drown (3rd Team) in 2004
• the first freshman defender for UMass to be named to an All-America team and just the second defender in program history (Christina Kocot, 1987)
• the seventh individual in program history to be tabbed an All-American...named to IWLCA All-Region Second-Team
• one of just eight freshmen nationally to earn all-region recognition
• became just the second freshman in UMass history to be named to a regional squad (Joannna Dignazio, 1995)
• named to Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team as the only defender on the squad
• named to the A-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll
• started all 17 games of the season
• finished the year with a team-leading 40 groundballs

Before UMass: A 2006 graduate of Shoreham-Wading River High School where she was a two-time all-county selection ... Academic All-American her senior year ... named defensive MVP her junior year ... put up career statstics of 32 goals and 14 assists ... she was also a soccer, basketball and gymnastics standout ... named scholar athlete all four years of high school for each team ... named all-conference, all-county and defensive MVP for soccer ... named the section XI MVP and all-league in basketball ... also a Suffolk Zone Recipient and Athlete of the Year.
