Had a breakout season as one of the top players in the Atlantic 10 ... Earned IWLCA All-Northeast Region First Team honors and was selected as one of 108 players to tryout for the United States National Team following the season ... Named the Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and was selected to the A-10 All-Conference First Team ... Also selected to the A-10 All-Tournament Team ... Was a three-time A-10 Offensive Player of the Week pick (2/23, 4/6, 4/13) ... Set the UMass single-season and the Atlantic 10 single-season record for draw controls with 113 ... That total stands tied as the 22nd-best single-season total in NCAA history ... Finished the year with 158 career draw controls which is the third most all-time in UMass program history ... Led UMass overall in goals (46), was second in points (57), fourth in groundballs (38) and fifth in caused turnovers (17) ... Ranked 8th nationally with 113 draw controls which also led the Atlantic 10 ... Ranked 2nd in the Atlantic 10 in overall goals and was third in points ... Was one of just five players nationally to have 100+ draw controls and 40+ goals ... Also in that game, helped set-up the 11th-fastest consecutive goals scored by the same team in NCAA history with assists to Holly Turner and Erika Eipp on goals separated by just 8 seconds ... In Atlantic 10 semifinal win over George Mason (5/1), had three goals, an assist, and three draw controls ... Was credited with game-winning goals in both the A-10 semifinal and A-10 Championship game vs. Richmond (5/3) - part of her team-best seven game-winning goals for the year ... Had a career-high six points in back-to-back wins over Vermont (4/8) and at Davidson (4/12) ... Netted four goals and two assists along with nine draw controls against Vermont ... Picked up three ground balls, two draw controls and three caused turnovers against New Hampshire (3/8)... Before UMass: Played midfield for Duxbury High School and was coached by Kelly Jurgens ... Senior year was team captain, team MVP, four time league all-star, Boston Globe's Will Mcdonough best girl athlete in the state for the MIAA, and first team All-American ... Holds high school record of second most total career points at 312 ... Career stats include 222 goals, and 90 assists ... Brother, Ben Murphy, plays ice hockey at Bowling Green State University and father was an All-American ice hockey player at St. Anselm College.
