    Venechanos On Drown: Holly is going to be our workhorse in the midfield ... she came back this season in great shape ... she has one of the best sticks on the team ... we are looking for her to use her confidence from the fall to have a good spring season.

    Named to the Spring A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll ... finished the season as one of the top midfielders on the team starting every game but two due to injury ... tallied eight goals ... also had 33 groundballs, 20 draw controls and seven assists ... had three groundballs and a caused turnover against Richmond (5/5) in A-10 Semifinal game ... in win at George Washington (4/30), had one groundball and four key draw controls ... against Duquesne (4/30), scored a goal, had four draw controls and posted one groundball ... scored a free position goal against Temple (4/23) to tie the game late in the second half ... returned to the starting midfield against Vermont (3/29) posting a career-high three goals and picking up three groundballs in the win ... started the first six games of the season, but did not play in the Hofstra and New Hampshire games due to illness (inflamed ribcage) ... recorded a goal and a career-high four draw controls at Syracuse (3/15) ... scored her first collegiate goal in win over Harvard (3/4).

    Before UMass: A 2005 graduate of Nashua South High School where she was a U.S. Lacrosse First Team All-American following her senior season ... a 2004 honorable mention All-American selection and the 2004 and 2005 New Hampshire Telegraph Player of the Year ... three-year All-New Hampshire selection ... led the Purple Panthers to a 56-11 record during her career ... had 38 goals, 16 assists as a sophomore and 54 goals, 38 assists as a junior ... played club lacrosse for Granite State Elite ... also played on the soccer team earning New Hampshire Telegraph Honorable Mention accolades and the Coaches Award ... member of the New Hampshire State Champion basketball team.
