AMHERST, Mass. - The 2009 Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championship will be hosted by UMass at Garber Field on Nov. 6-7. The semifinal games will be played at 12:30 and 3 p.m. on Friday, and the championship game will be contested on Saturday at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $6 for adults, $4 for children and senior citizens, and $3 for students of an A-10 school. Two day passes are also available for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the UMass Box Office or by calling 866-UMASS-TIX.

Friday's first semifinal game (12:30 p.m.) will feature the top-seed Richmond taking on the four-seed and host UMass Minutewomen. The game is a rematch of last season's A-10 championship game, a 2-0 UMass victory and features the schools that have combined to win the last 13 A-10 titles.

The second semifinal game (3 p.m.) pits two-seed Saint Joseph's against three-seed Temple. The Philadelphia rivals met back on Oct. 9 with the Hawks defeating the Owls, 4-0.
