AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts field hockey program will host a youth clinic following its Sunday, Oct. 27 home game against Virginia Commonwealth University. The one-day camp, which will last two and a half hours, is set to begin at approximately 2 p.m.

Registration is available through the ONE Field Hockey Camp website, with a $55 cost of attending. UMass head coach Carla Tagliente and assistants Roz Ellis and Callie Sweigart will serve as instructors during the clinic, which will advance a participant's technical skills and apply them to game situations.

Tagliente, a four-time All-American and two-time Honda Broderick Award nominee, is in her third season as the program leader at UMass. In 2012, Tagliente led the Minutewomen to a 15-win season that included an Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
