AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass Athletic Department and the Minutewomen field hockey program announced the change in three game start times for the upcoming home schedule on Wednesday evening. Contests on Garber Field against No. 7 Northeastern, No. 11 Boston University and Vermont will now begin at 4 p.m. EST.

The changes are in accordance with the University of Massachusetts cancellation of nighttime outdoor activities over concerns of mosquito-borne illnesses. The state Department of Health recommended this precautionary move to help protect the Amherst community.
