CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard University (3-0) scored three second-half goals in an 11-minute span en route to a 4-0 win over the University of Massachusetts (2-5) in non-conference field hockey action this afternoon. Massachusetts junior goalkeeper Christine Tocco (Reading, Mass.) made 13 saves in the loss.

Jen McDavitt got the Crimson on the board at the 19:11 mark when she converted on a penalty corner. Harvard out-shot the Minutewomen, 10-0 in the first half, but led just 1-0 at intermission.

Harvard opened up the game in the second half, tallying three goals in just over 11 minutes and cruised to the win. Mina Pell, Tiffany Egnaczyk and Elizabeth Andrews each recorded second-half scores. Jen Ahn had two assists on the day.

Harvard out-shot Massachusetts 25-0 and held the edge in penalty corners, 15-0. Tocco's 13 saves this afternoon are the second-most that she has recorded in her career.

Massachusetts will next host Providence College on Saturday, Sept. 20. Game-time at Garber Field is slated for 2:00 p.m.
