Kerry Ann Jaggassar is entering her fifth year on the Massachusetts coaching staff after a successful career as a UMass field hockey player. Throughout her four years at Massachusetts, Jaggassar was part of a defensive unit that ranked among the nation's best and led the country in scoring defense in 2000 allowing a mere 0.74 goals per game. Jaggassar was a member of four Atlantic 10 championship teams and was also a two-time member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. She graduated in May of 2002 with a B.S. in environmental sciences and is currently pursuing a master's degree in environmental health. Prior to joining the Minutewomen, Jaggassar attended the University of West Indies. She was the youngest member of the Trinidad & Tobago National Team and also played for the under-19 national squad. |
