The UMass women's basketball team will conclude its two-game road trip on Saturday, Feb. 4, as the squad will be in action at La Salle at 7 p.m. Looking to snap a five-game skid, the Minutewomen (6-16, 1-6 A-10) will be facing an Explorers team that is 4-3 in conference play and coming off a one-point victory over Fordham. Strong 2nd Half Not Enough In 80-58 Loss For WBB Vs. 49ers

The UMass women's basketball team outscored Charlotte in the second half, but could not overcome a first half surge by the 49ers, falling 80-58 on Wednesday night in Halton Arena. Following the loss the Minutewomen are now 6-16 on the season and 1-6 in Atlantic 10 play, while Charlotte improves to 14-8 overall and 6-2 in conference action. MORE

The UMass women's basketball team will begin its road trip at Charlotte this Wednesday evening, taking on the 49ers in the first of two straight away from home for the Minutewomen. Women's Hoops Falls To Fordham, 56-54, On Buzzer Beater

Emily Tapio's layup with 1.1 seconds left gave Fordham a 56-54 win over Massachusetts in Atlantic 10 women's basketball action at the Mullins Center on Saturday. The score came just after Megan Zullo tied the game with a fade-away three-pointer with 8.8 seconds. Shakia Robinson led all scorers with 20 points, while Jasmine Watson added 12 points. MORE

On the back of a record-setting performance by senior Megan Zullo, the UMass women's basketball team was within two at the intermission, but could not hold off a second half run by Duquesne, falling 76-62 at the A.J. Palumbo Center on Wednesday night. Following the loss, the Minutewomen are now 6-14 overall and 1-4 in the Atlantic 10, while the Dukes remain a perfect 11-0 at home this season and move to 15-5...
