UMass was one of 32 winners in the NCAA Division I "Pack the House" Challenge. "Pack the House" is a national effort in which conferences and institutions compete to build attendance. Minutewomen Roll Past Rhody On Senior Day, 68-57

With 23 assists on 24 field goals and four players in double figures, the UMass women's basketball team rolled to a 68-57 victory over Rhode Island on Senior Day at the Mullins Center on Wednesday evening. The Minutewomen led for all but 48 seconds of the contest to move to 8-20 on the season (3-10 A-10), surpassing the team's 2010-11 overall win total. The UMass women's basketball team will close out its 2011-12 home slate this Wednesday, Feb. 22, when the squad will play host to Rhode Island at the Mullins Center at 7 p.m. Prior to the contest against the Rams (1-26, 0-12 A-10), the Minutewomen will honor seniors Emilie Teuscher and Megan Zullo, who will be taking the floor for the final home game of their collegiate careers. 130 Named To A-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll

A total of 130 UMass student-athletes earned Atlantic 10 Commissioner Fall Honor Roll accolades as announced by the league office. A total of 1,348 student-athletes in the league posted 3.5 GPA's or better which is the most in Bernadette McGlade's tenure as league commissioner. UMass' total marks the most honored since Spring 2007 when 134 earned the distinction. MORE
