AMHERST, Mass. - UMass women's basketball and head coach Sharon Dawley announced the signing of junior college transfer Paula Tarnachowicz (pronounced tar-na-HO-witz) to a national letter of intent on Monday morning. Tarnachowicz, a native of Poland, joins the Minutewomen after two years at Panola College in Carthage, Texas.
