Minutewomen face Western Michigan on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
Entering her fifth season at the University of Massachusetts, Jen MacAulay came to UMass in 2010-11 after spending two successful years as an assistant under Sharon Dawley at Vermont. At UMass, MacAulay oversees the day-to-day functionality of the team while she also works with the Minutewomen guards on and off the court.
MacAulay returned to her alma mater, Vermont, for the 2008-09 campaign after three years at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, and two seasons as a graduate assistant on the women's basketball staff at the University of New Hampshire.
From August 2003 through September 2006, MacAulay filled several roles at Carleton. She served as an assistant women's basketball coach for two seasons and was also the director of intramural athletics and sports camps at the school.
A 2002 graduate of Vermont, MacAulay won a pair of America East Regular Season Titles and went to compete in the NCAA and WNIT postseason tournaments during her career. She served as a co-captain as a junior in 2000-01 and finished her career ranking among Vermont's all-time leaders in three-pointer field goals and assists.
In the classroom, MacAulay, a Business Administration major, was a Dean's List student and earned a spot on the America East Academic Honor Roll all four years. She earned her Master's degree in Sports Studies from New Hampshire in May of 2008.
