Played in 26 of the 29 games, starting 25 of them ... averaged 35.7 minutes of play ... played the entire game at St. Bonaventure (Jan. 23) and at Temple (Feb. 6) ... led the team with 150 assists ... finished 27th nationally with 5.8 assists per game ... hit 64 of 81 attempts from the line, shooting a team-leading .790 ... finished fourth in scoring with 8.1 points per game ... scored in the double-digits eight times ... led the team in scoring four times including a season-high 20 points against Stanford (Dec. 12) ... hit a season-high five field goals, four three-pointers and six free throws in that game ... also had a season-best six rebounds versus Stanford ... went a perfect 6-6 from the line at Holy Cross (Nov. 23) ... recorded 11 assists at St. Bonaventure (Jan. 9) and 10 against Stanford ... had a season-high four steals versus. A graduate of Belpre High School (1997) ... played for coach Dave Wilcoxen ... averaged 23 points and 8.5 steals per game as a senior ... was a four-time first-team Southeast District and Tri-Valley Conference selection ... was also a two-time all-District 12 selection ... a two-time Ohio All-State second-team selection ... named District 12 Player-of-the-Year in 1997 and Tri-Valley Conference MVP in 1996 and 1997 ... was the Marietta Times MVP in 1996 and 1997 held school records for points (1,817), assists (614), and steals (400).

Born Katherine June Coyner on April 20, 1979 in Parkersburg, W. Va. ... daughter of Tom and Connie Coyner... enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, majoring in biochemistry.
