Alison Brown begins her second year with the UMass staff as the team's director of operations after playing four seasons under Sharon Dawley at the University of Vermont from 2003-07. A four-year member of the Dean's List at UVM, Brown served as co-captain of the Catamounts as a senior in 2006-07 before graduating with a degree in Business Administration. She was a recipient of the team's Spirit Award in her final campaign with the Catamounts. Brown, a Pennsylvania native, spent the 2009-10 season as an assistant varsity and junior varsity head coach of the girl's basketball team at Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, Pa.
