Baldwin was UMass' top finisher at the A-10 meet in St. Louis, Mo., taking ninth in a field of 140 runners with a time of 20:09. She helped the Minutewomen to their best performance at the conference championships since 2000 as the squad placed third out of 14 teams. For her efforts, Baldwin was tabbed Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year in addition to earning Atlantic 10 All-Conference recognition.
Johnson led the Minutemen to a runner-up showing at the A-10 Championships, finishing seventh overall out of 141 competitors in the 8k race with a time of 26:57.8. Johnson, who improved upon his 20th-place finish from the 2008 conference meet, took home an A-10 All-Conference honor.
Ploch participated in the ITA Regional Championships at Yale. Seeded 17th, she earned a bye first round. In her second round match she defeated Penn, 4-1 (ret.) when the player retired due to illness.
Ploch then went on to defeat the No. 14 seed, Annie Houghton from Army.
