BRONX, N.Y. - In the season finale, the UMass men's cross country team made for a strong showing at Saturday's IC4A Championships. The Minutemen claimed ninth in a field of 17 squads with 221 points. Taking home the top spot was #17 Princeton.

For the seventh and final time of his collegiate cross country career, Sean Duncan paved the path for UMass, finishing fifth overall and first on the team in 25:09. Duncan finishes his career having led UMass in every race he competed in this season.

Roommates Patrick McGowan and Antony Taylor crossed the line next for Ken O'Brien. The duo placed 23rd and 61st respectively with times of 25:41 and 26:06.

Running neck n' neck and rounding out the UMass scorers were Jared Reddy and John O'Shea in 68th and 69th. The former clocked in at 26:11, while the latter recorded a time of 26:12.

The indoor track and field season is set to commence on Jan. 14 at the Sorlein Invitational.
