This Saturday will mark the seventh and final meet of the 2011 fall campaign for the Minutemen.
If UMass finishes in the top two as a team, the Minutemen would automatically qualify for the National Meet.
The Minutemen will travel to Charlotte, N.C. for the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championships this weekend.
Sean Duncan and Karen Roa were named A-10 Cross Country Performers of the Week on Monday.
Sean Duncan led UMass for a third consecutive meet, placing an impressive 12th overall.

2011-12(Graduate Student): Cross Country: Ran in six meets ... Finished fifth overall and first on the team in IC4A Championships (11/19) with a time of 25:09 ... Took 35th overall and first on the team in the NCAA Regional Championships (11/12) running a time of 32:24.1 ... Placed fifth overall and first on the team at the A10 Championships (10/29) finishing in 24:44 ... Ran in the New England Championships (10/8) finishing 12th overall and first on the team with a time of 25:10 ... Finished first on the team in the Paul Short Invitational (9/30) running a 25:28 ... Took third overall and first on the team in the Minuteman Invitational (9/17) with a time of 22:16.91.
2010-11(Senior): Cross Country: Did not compete.
2009-10 (Junior):Cross Country: Competed in six meets ... Aided the team in taking second overall place at the Atlantic 10 Championship (10/31) meet with a fifth place team finish and 19th overall with a time of 27:22.7 ... Also finished just one place out of the top five on the team at both the New England Championships (10/10) and ISU Pre-Nationals (10/17) ... Placed 55th overall and third on the team at the Paul Short Invitational (10/2) with a time of 24:39 ... Took second place on the team and fifth overall at the UMass Five-Way Meet (9/19) with a time of 25:50.00.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Cross Country: Ran in three meets ... Competed in the Atlantic 10 Championships (11/1) and finished 32nd overall, ninth on the team, with a time of 25:10.6 ... Ran in the New England Championships (10/11) and was second on the team, 31st overall, with a time of 25:20 ... Placed third on the team and 11th overall with a time of 26:39.80 to open the season at the Dartmouth Invitational (9/13).
2007-08 (Freshman): Cross Country: Competed in two meets all season ... Recorded best time of the season at the Albany Invitational (10/13) to place seventh on the team and 57th overall (26:47.1) ... Ran at home vs. Maine/Vermont (9/15) with a time of 26:50 and a 37th place finish.
Before UMass: A 2007 graduate of Gardner High School where he was a league and district all-star each of his four years ... School record holder in the 4x800 outdoor relay (8:30), the 4x800 indoor relay (8:12), and Class C Indoor track distance medley (10:46).
