09/12/2012 Men's XC and T&F Introduces Freshmen For The 2012-13 SeasonHead Coach Ken O'Brien, Assistant Coaches David Jackson and Darcy Wilson had perhaps the busiest summer of all and have brought in 26 freshman this season between both track and field and cross country. As a freshman in 2012: Crossed the finish line at 27:59.0 placing 14th for the team and 46th overall in the Brown Invitational (10/19) ... Made his collegiate debut in the UMass Invitational crossing the finish line at 20:19.13 and coming in 13th for the Minutemen and 19th overall (9/8). Before UMass: Ran cross country and track for Coach D'Antono ... NYS Section 9 State Qualifier Champion in the 1600m and 2nd in the 3200 ... Top 5 finisher in the 3mile at NYS Section 9 Championships ... Holds the school records in the distance medley relay (10:59) and the 4x800 meter relay (8:13) ... Served as team captain as a senior.
