Leading the way for the Minutewomen was Nicole Pompei while the men received a solid performance from the squad's distance medley relay team. MOREM. Track - 3/6/2010 Busch and Wilson Highlight Day One Competition For Track TeamsThe men's and women's indoor track and field teams were in competition on Saturday. The women were in Roxbury, Mass. for the ECAC Championships, while their counterparts, the men were in Boston, Mass. for the IC4A Championships. The women sit 23rd out of 28 teams after day one in a highly competitive field, while the men have yet to total any points. Both teams will conclude their respective meets on Sunday. MOREM. Track - 3/4/2010 Men's Track Wraps Up Season At IC4A ChampionshipsThe UMass men's indoor track and field team will travel to Boston, Mass. this weekend for the second week in a row and fourth time this season for the IC4A Championships. The Minutemen are coming off an impressive sixth place finish in a field of 33 at last weekend's New England Championships. UMass will send 16 already qualified competitors to this weekend's meet. Both competitors captured first place in their respective events this past weekend at the New England Championships. Not only did the Minutemen capture a solid sixth place out of a field of 33, but also added five qualifiers for next weekend's IC4A meet. MOREM. Out of a competitive field of 24 teams, the Minutemen currently sit in tenth place with nine points.
