PRINCETON, N.J. - On Saturday the Minutemen began their IC4A Championship in Princeton, N.J., with three performances on the track. Senior co-captain Stephen Bigelow led the way for the Minutemen with his performance in the 110 meter hurdles.

The senior out of Winchester, Mass., ran a personal best time in the semi-finals of the 110 meter hurdles after qualifying in the prelims. Bigelow placed eighth out of 16 qualifiers in the preliminaries with a time of 14.68-seconds. In the semis Bigelow bettered his second best time in UMass history placing seventh with a time of 14.36-seconds in order to move onto the finals on Sunday.
