Men's Track Wraps Up Season At New England Meet

EASTON, Mass. - The men's track and field team wrapped up its season on Saturday at the New England Championship meet in Easton, Mass at Stonehill College. Overall the Minutemen scored 10.5 points for a 21st place finish in a field of 37.

The men's 4x800 meter relay team consisted of Stephen Ness, Curt Owen, Michael McNaughton and Michael Giardina. The quad ran a season best time of 7-minutes, 39.10-seconds and scored for the team with a fifth place finish.

Patrick Farnham was one of the Minutemen to qualify for the finals on day one. The sophomore finished seventh in the 100 meter dash finals today with a time of 11.05-seconds.

This is the men's final meet of the 2013 track and field season. Now head coach Ken O'Brien will turn his attention to the men's cross country season in the fall of 2013 .
