BOSTON, Mass. - The Minutemen wrapped up the 2014 indoor season at the IC4A Championship Sunday afternoon in Boston, Mass. Antony Taylor had the highlight performance of the meet while Stephen Bigelow just missed scoring in the 60 meter hurdles.

Coach O'Brien's standout harrier Taylor completed the 3,000 meter run in just 8-minutes, 13.69-seconds to finish in 18 place out of 58 total competitors. The time stands as the third fastest time in program history and moves Mike Quinn's time of 8:13.7 to fourth all-time.

Taylor's performance is the first top five time recorded in the indoor 3,000 meter run since 1989 when Art Smith ran the event in 8-minutes, 15.97-seconds. Smith's time currently stands as the fifth best time in UMass history.

After qualifying for the finals of the 60 meter hurdles Bigelow just missed scoring in the event with a ninth place performance. The senior recorded a time of 8.49-seconds in the event marking his final indoor performance as a Minuteman.

With the team's indoor campaign coming to a close the men's track and field team will prepare for its outdoor campaign beginning April 5 at the AIC Invitational in Springfield, Mass. at 10:30 AM.
