CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The UMass track and field squad closed out their indoor campaign Sunday at the IC4A Championship in Cambridge, Mass. Antony Taylor and Michael Cyphers were the only athletes to represent the Minutemen on day two of the championship meet.

Taylor completed the 3,000 meter run in 8-minutes, 27.76-seconds while the freshman Cyphers vaulted himself 15-feet, 9-inches in the pole vault. Cyphers tied for 10th in the event.

The next time the Minutemen compete will be April 6 at the AIC Invitational in the outdoor season opener. Along with the outdoor campaign comes two home events for UMass, one April 13, the other April 27. Both will be hosted at the UMass Track and Field Complex with start times set for 11:30 A.M.
