CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Minutemen were quiet at the IC4A Championship Saturday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center in Cambridge, Mass. The competition was stout as the Minutemen came up short of qualifying for the finals in the 1,000 meter run and the mile and also didn't crack the top eight in the relays.

Thomas Mullen perhaps had the best performance of the day for the Minutemen as he finished 12th in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 2-minutes, 27.39-seconds. Mullen was the sole representative of the A-10 Conference in the event.

Antony Taylor was also the only competitor out of the A-10 in his respective event. The junior completed the mile in 4-minutes, 23.07-seconds.

The 4x800 meter relay squad was led by senior Nick Otis and included junior Michael Giardina as well as sophomores Stephen Ness and Curt Owen. The quad finished the event in 7-minutes, 43.14-seconds.

Sunday the Minutemen's rising star in the pole vault Michael Cyphers will compete and look to continue his freshman season success. If Cyphers does not qualify for Nationals this will be the final day of competition of the 2013 indoor season.
