2006 Update: At the New Hampshire Invitational (1/21), placed 11th (4:22.60) in the 1,500 meter ... At the Boston Invitational (1/27), placed 17th (2:42.71) in the 1,000 meter ... Placed 10th in the 1,000-meter and 19th in the mile (4:39.10) at the Rhode Island Mega Meet (2/4) ... Placed 132nd in the 800-meter (2:02.87) at the Boston University Valentine Invitational (2/11).

o Finished 80th overall at the Dartmouth Invitational (9/10) in 28:16.70.

Before UMass: A 2005 graduate of Groton-Dunstable High School where he helped head coach Ken Magliozze's Crusaders to two league cross country championships (2003, 2004) and an overall record of 47-7 ... qualified for the Massachusetts State Cross Country Championship in each of his four prep years ... finished 18th at the State Cross Country Championships as a senior and 13th in the mile during the Outdoor Track Championships ... a four-time league all-star in his cross country career ... league champion in the 800 meters and mile during outdoor track ... three-time district all-star ... four-time Lowell Sun All-Star and three-time honoree as the team's Most Accomplished Runner ... as a senior ran personal-best times of 16:39 in cross country ... during outdoor track, posted personal-best times and school records in the mile (4:29) and in the two-mile (9:58.7).
