AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass men's and women's swimming and diving teams each earned an Atlantic 10 weekly honor following the sweep of Binghamton this past weekend. Michael Glenn was named Men's Performer of the Week, while Jocelyn Yuen was named Women's Rookie of the Week. This is the third time a Minuteman has received a weekly honor from the conference and the second time for the women.

Glenn, a native of Overland Park, Kan., was an integral part of the Minutemen's 191-126 win over Binghamton. The sophomore was able to take home individual first place finishes in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke with times of 58.05 and 2:06.20, respectively. He was also able to grab first in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:12.21.

Yuen, hailing from Princeton, N.J., had a great weekend in the pool leading to her first weekly award of her career. The freshman was able to sweep both butterfly events finishing with times of 59.01 in the 100-yard and 2:09.27 in the 200-yard fly. She was also able to finish first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:09.98.

Both teams will be on the road again next weekend as they travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Brown University on Saturday November 10. The meet is scheduled to start off at 1 p.m.
