Minutemen Swimming Ranked Outside The Endless Pools Top 25

AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass men's swimming and diving team is ranked just outside the Endless Pools/ Top 25 for the first time this season. The Minutemen are ranked No. 34 and are in the 10.04 percentile of teams in the country. UMass' times are reflected following their second-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships.

Of the Top 25 the majority of the teams come from the SEC and Pac-12, with a few Ivy schools mixed in. The University of Florida holds the top spot in the men's poll.

The Endless Pools / is the only objective ranking of college swimming for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA. For each meet a individual are ranked according to their percentile. These are then compiled into a team score. (There is a minimum of 27 swims necessary to calculate a team score). The Endless Pools / Top 25 takes the best team performance over a four-week period.
