Swim Heads To Puerto Rico For Winter Training
Jan. 7, 2012
AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass men's and women's swim teams will be back in action after a month lay-off as they head to Puerto Rico for their annual winter training trip. Once they return to the mainland both teams will head to Kingston, R.I. for the Rhode Island Invitational. Men's senior captain Kyle Jennings will be blogging about the trip.
Men's head coach Russ Yarworth is enthusiastic about the trip saying, "The trip is going great. Tremendous team attitude and bonding, awesome and intense training sessions, and of course lots of warm sunshine! Every group, sprint through distance, is improving daily!"
