PRINCETON, N.J. - The University of Massachusetts men's and women's diving teams competed at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J. this weekend. Senior Logan Alomar (Silver Spring, Md.) was the top UMass performer, winning the one-meter dive with a score of 289.45. Alomar also placed second in the three-meter dive, recording a mark of 273.10.

Also diving well for the men's team was junior Brandon Doane (Danvers, Mass.), who dove to a third place finish in the one-meter event, with a score of 249.75. His mark of 221.90 in the three-meter dive was good enough to place him fifth.

For the women, senior Joanna Walsh (Spencer, Mass.) finished 10th in the one-meter dive and 11th in the three-meter, with scores of 199.30 and 183.90, respectively. Sophomore Mary Jenkins (Acton, Mass.) finished the three-meter event in 10th place with a score of 188.65, while diving to 16th place in the one-meter with a mark of 174.15.

The diving teams will be back in action on Sunday, Jan. 4, when they travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to compete in the San Juan Invitational.
