AMHERST, Mass. -

At the conclusion of day one of the Atlantic 10 Championship from Buffalo, N.Y. the Minutemen sit atop the leader board with a total score of 117 points after the first three events. The men sit ahead of St. Bonaventure (106), Saint Louis (88), La Salle (88), Fordham (64), Xavier (58) and George Washington (56).

The men set an Atlantic 10 and school record in the 800-yard freestyle relay touching the wall with a time of 6:35.11. The team of Joey Sbordon, Erik Rennspiess, Troy Nichols and Chris Inglis toppled the A-10 record set by the UMass men last season at the conference championship.
