General: Named captain for the 2007-08 season ... ranks fifth all-time in school history in the 100 breaststroke (57.40 seconds).

2006-07 (Junior): Named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference Team ... named to the A-10 Commissioner's Fall and Spring Honor Rolls ... at the A-10 Championships (2/21-24), finished fourth in the 200 breast (2:07.61), sixth in the 100 breast (58.12), and 13th in the 200 individual medley (1:56.79).

2005-06 (Sophomore): Given the team's Iron Man Award ... member of the second-place 400 medley relay team at the A-10 Championships ... individually, took third in the 100 breaststroke, fifth in the 200 breaststroke, and 14th in the 200 IM at the A-10 Championships (2/17) ... during the dual meet season, one of the top point scorers in the breaststroke and IM events.

2004-05 (Freshman at New Hampshire): Named to the America East Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll and to the Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.50 GPA or better) ... at the America East Conference Championships (2/9) took third in the 100 breaststroke (59.21 seconds), eighth in the 400 individual medley (4:22.72), and ninth in the 200 breaststroke (2:14.44) ... member of the UNH Honor Society.

Before College: The 2004 graduate of East Longmeadow High School was a High School All American in the 100 breast (58.24 seconds) ... holds the Massachusetts Western Sectional Record in that event ... won the 200 individual medley at the state championships as well ... three-time MVP for the Spartans ... also swam for the Aquabears as well as the Pioneer Valley Swim Club ... during high school his motivation was breaking his father's school record in the 100 breast which he achieved during his senior year ... member of the volleyball team as well.

Personal: John Ewart Weaver ... born March 15, 1986 in Agawam, Mass. ... son of Richard and Ruth Weaver ... has three siblings: Jennifer, Mike and Ethan ... his father was a swimmer at UConn and a former High School All-American ... majoring in English and political science ... wants to pursue Law School following his graduation.
