2004-05 (Freshman): Became the first Atlantic 10 Diving Champion in UMass history when he took first in the 1-meter dive (304.30 points) at the A-10 Championships (2/17) ... that mark stands as the fifth-best performance in UMass diving history ... set the school record for the 3-meter dive when he recorded 488.75 points for a second-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships (2/19) ... competed at the NCAA Diving Regionals taking 15th in the 3-meter dive (252.35 points) and 27th in the 1-meter dive (197.85 points) ... had three victories on the season and 13 top-5 finishes ... posted a victory on the 1-meter board versus Boston College (1/22) with 272.10 points ... recorded a win in the 3-meter dive with his 323.08 point performance at Fordham (1/29).
Before UMass: Three-sport athlete at Farmington HS who earned First-Team All-America honors for diving in 2003 and 2004 ... five-time all-state selection (2000-2004) ... state diving champion in 2004 ... well-rounded athlete earning all-conference honors on eight occasions ... six-time team MVP (four in swimming, and once each in soccer and track) ... holds five swimming records at FHS including the high score records for the 11 dive event (473.80) and for the six dive event (298.80) ... also holds the school pole vault record at 13'8" ... four-year member of the soccer team as a goalkeeper.
