04/08/2013 Men's Swimming and Diving Holds Annual Banquet03/09/2013 139 UMass Student-Athletes Named To Atlantic 10 Fall Commissioner's Honor RollA league-record 1,637 student-athletes recognized for achieving 3.5 GPA's or higher. 03/08/2013 Five Swimmers Named To Academic All-Conference TeamFour Minutemen receive the honor, while Michaela Butler is the lone member of the women's team. 02/24/2013 Men's Swimming Finishes Second At Atlantic 10 ChampionshipsThe Minutemen were dethroned by the Bonnies, first time since 2006 they were not crowned A-10 Champs. 02/23/2013 Inglis Sets A-10 Record In 200 Free, Minutemen In Second With One Day LeftJunior Chris Inglis broke his own school and A-10 record with a time of 1:36.80. 2011-12 (Sophomore): Finished second in the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:48.64), second in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (3:11.36), third in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:45.00), and second in the 100 Yard Freestyle (48.29) against Boston University (10/15). 2010-11 (Freshman): Finished fifth in the 500 free (4:36.51) and first as a member of the 800 free relay (6:35.92) at the Atlantic 10 Championship (2/23-26) ... Placed first in 1000 freestyle (9:58.22), third in the 200 freestyle relay (1:27.16), and fourth in the 100 freestyle (47.96) vs. Fordham (2/5)... Took first in both the 400 freestyle relay (3:08.93) and in the 800 freestyle relay (6:47.45), third in the 500 freestyle (4:41.37), fifth in the 1000 freestyle (9:45.10), and ninth in the 100 backstroke (54.09) at Dartmouth's Invitational (1/29)... Finished first in 200 backstroke (1:54.13) and tied for first in the 200 IM (1:56.80) vs. BC (1/21)... Placed fourth in 200 yard back ( 1:58.92), third in 500 yard free (4:54.41), helped take third in 500 yard free relay (4:14.13), and finished seventh in 400 yard IM (4:28.65) at Binghamton (11/6) ... Finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:48.74) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.13) against BU (10/16). Helped place third in both the 200-yard freestyle (24.52)and in the 200 yard freestyle relay (22.40) and finished fifth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:51.07) against Army (10/23). Before UMass: Senior captain of Shenendehowa High School Swim Team under head coach Chuck Dunham which was ranked #1 in the state ... Named an All-American as a sophomore, junior and senior ...
