  • Moliere Named A-10 Rookie Of The Week, 1/29/07

    General: Ranks fifth all-time in the 100 free (45.63), fourth all-time in the 50 free (20.48) and is a member of the school record holding 400 medley relay at UMass ... A member of the school-record and conference-record holding 200 medley relay team (1:31.00).

    2009-10 (Senior): Finished second in the 50 freestyle (21.47) while helping the 400 freestyle relay team to first-place at Yale (12/5) ... Grabbed third in the 50 freestyle (20.72) and fourth in the 100 freestyle (46.26), while anchoring the second-place 200 freestyle (1:23.07) and 200 medley (1:33.24) relay teams as well as the third-place 400 medley relay team (3:25.13) at the Terrier Invitational (11/22) ... Swept the sprints winning the 50 free (20.75) and the 100 free (46.91) whil also anchoring the 200 medley relay (1:35.05) and the 200 free relay (1:24.03) against Binghamton (11/7) ... Placed first in the 200 free (1:45.55) and helped the 400 free relay (3:10.23) and the 200 medley relay (1:35.84) to a victory against Stony Brook (10/31) ... Took wins in both the 50 freestyle (21.32) and 100 freestyle (47.27) while helping 200 freestyle relay team (1:24.01) to dramatic victory against BU (10/17).

    2008-09 (Junior): Placed first in the 100 free (45.33) and tied for fourth in the 50 free (20.81) individually while also helping the 400 free relay team to a school record setting finish (3:19.34) at the A-10 Championships (2/18-21) ... Notched first-place finishes in the 50 free (21.56) and the 100 free (47.32) while helping the 200 free relay team to a first-place finish at Fordham (1/31) ... Placed first in the 100 free (46.55) and second in the 100 back (54.20) in the final home meet of the season against Colgate (1/25) ... Helped the 200 medley relay team to a first-place finish while notching a second-place finish individually in the 50 free (21.20) at home against Boston College (1/24) ... Placed first in the 50 free (21.51) and the 100 free (47.49) at the Rhode Island Invitational (1/16-18) ... Finished first in the 100 free (47.89) and saw his first second-place finish in the 50 free (21.75) since his sophomore season at Binghamton (11/8) ... Notched the top spot in the 50 free (21.72) against Stony Brook (11/1) ... Helped the 200 medley relay team to a first-place finish while adding two top finishes of his own in the 50 free (21.16) and the 100 free (47.23) in the Minutemen's first win over Army (10/25) earning him Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week honors ... Finished first in the 50 and 100 free recording respective times of 21.28 and 47.41 in the first meet of the season at BU (10/18).

    2007-08 (Sophomore): Placed third in the 100 free (45.63), first in the 50 free (20.77) and also help the 200 medley relay (1:32.29) and 200 free relay teams to third and second place finishes at the A-10 Championships (2/20-23) ... Swam the final leg for the first place 400 medley relay (3:34.85) team at the Rhode Island Invitational (1/11-12) ... Placed first in the 100 free (46.26), fourth in the 200 free (1:45.09), and second in the 50 free (21.24) while also taking first in the 200 free relay (1:27.76) and first in the 200 medley relay (1:33.94) at the BU Terrier Invitational (11/16-17).

    2006-07 (Freshman): First-Team and Second-Team All-Atlantic 10 member ... Given the team's Coach's Award ... Was named A-10 Rookie of the Week (1/29) ... Won the 100 free (45.88), swam the anchor leg of the A-10 Champion 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams, anchored the second-place 200 free relay team swam the lead leg of the second-place 400 free relay team, took third in 50 free (21.04) and finished seventh in the 200 free (1:42.82) at the A-10 Championships (2/21-24) ... Won the 50 free in five meets and the 100 free in two meets during the season.

    Before UMass: A 2006 graduate Col. San Ignacio High School where he broke school records in the 50 meter freestyle and the 100 meter freestyle with times of 23.76 and 53.35, respectively ... Most outstanding swimmer as a junior and three-time MVP ... Also played goalie for the soccer team.
