UMass To Open 2014 Men's Soccer Season On NSCAATV.com

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The University of Massachusetts men's soccer program will open the 2014 season in front of a national audience when it travels to the Beehive State to face Utah Valley on Saturday, Aug. 30.
The Minutemen's game with the Wolverines will be televised globally by NSCAATV.com. Kickoff at Clyde Field in Orem is set for 7:30 p.m. MT (9:30 p.m. ET). The game will be the first Division I contest for Utah Valley after starting the program last season.
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) continues its role in promoting and broadcasting college soccer in 2014. With the creation of NSCAATV.com, the "NSCAA College Soccer Special presented by Continental Tire" will return for its second season. The package will include up to 20 NCAA Division I college soccer games and numerous NCAA Division II, Division III, and NAIA games.
This year's preliminary schedule includes 15 games and features five Top 25 men's teams from last year's final NSCAA/Continental Tire rankings (#8 UCLA, #9 Connecticut, #16 Penn State, #17 Akron, #20 UC Santa Barbara - along with William & Mary, George Mason, North Carolina and Tulsa that received votes). The schedule also includes four Top 25 women's teams, including NCAA College Cup finalist Florida State, #12 West Virginia, #17 Texas Tech, and #19 Boston College.
