DAYTON, Ohio - Alex Torda's golden goal in the 106th minute of play settled a highly defensive match on Sunday at Baujan Field as Dayton defeated the UMass men's soccer team 1-0 in double overtime. Torda's goal was his third of the season and came on a feed from Evan McCreary. Torda was able to ellude a UMass defender outside the 18-yard box and then chip the ball with his left foot. Piekos was able to get his fingers on the shot, but not enough as the momentum took the ball over the goal line for the score.
