BURLINGTON, Vt. - With just 65 seconds left in the second overtime period, senior forward Bryant Craft was able to head home the game-winning goal as the UMass men's soccer team defeated New Hampshire in the first game of the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Windjammer Classic hosted by Vermont.

The win was the first of the season for UMass as the Minutemen improve to 1-3 overall, while New Hampshire drops to 1-3 overall. UMass will face Vermont on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

For Craft, the goal was the first of the season for the Worcester native and the 10th of his career. It proved his second career game-winning goal.

The co-captain was able to head home the game-winner after junior defender Dominic Skrajewski deflected the ball through a crowd in front of the New Hampshire goal. His tally came in the 108th minute of play.

Keeper Shane Curran-Hays earned the win in goal for UMass making seven saves. Kyle Lewis made eight saves in the loss for the Wildcats.

Shots were tied 14 each for the game, while New Hampshire held an 8-to-4 advantage in corner kicks.
