2002: After shaking off an early-season injury, Colwell came back to play in 16 games with 13 starts... Tallied nine points (1 g, 7 a) on the season, including two assists each against Dayton and Fordham... Scored a goal and an assist in 6-0 win over Hartford... Before UMass: Four-year varsity letterwinner for coach Ralph Key at David Prouty H.S. where his team went 83-16-4 in four years... Tallied 72 goals and 40 assists in his career, including 24 goals and 11 assists as a senior captain... Set a school record for goals and points by totaling 38 goals and 19 assists in his junior season... Earned All-State, Central Mass.
